Qualifications
Must have at least 5 years experience as a service tech. Be familiar with all aspects of coax/fiber cable TV plant and headend. Experienced in the use of signal meters, Leakage detection equipment, Splicing of .750, .500 and .412 diameter cables and fiber. Have a working knowledge of Microwave equipment, wired and wireless internet, DOCSIS, troubleshooting noise affecting video and Internet, VOIP telephony installation, familiarity with GLDS billing and Momentum/ IBBS technical support, etc..

Job Description
Manage the day to day operations of a small cable TV system located in Gualala, CA providing video, internet, and VOIP services to 3500 homes.
System currently serves 600 video subscribers, 1600 Internet subscribers and 150 VOIP telephony subscribers.
Candidate must be a self starter capable of working on his/her own. Candidate will manage one full time installer and report to the Director of Operations who will be relocating from the area.
System is 450 Mhtz, containing approx. 100 miles of coax and 3 miles of fiber. Approximately 1/2 of the plant is underground. System utilizes HITS quick take, DOCSIS1 on the modems.
System utilizes GLDS WinCAble for billing and IBBS/Momentum for data and VOIP provisioning and 24/7 technical support.
