Pay: 75 to 80k DOE. Reports to General Manager.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in OSP construction practices as related to telecommunications in the Telephony, CATV and fibre optic industry. Knowledge base of aerial and underground construction methods of placing strand, lashing cables, splicing, make-ready, horizontal drilling, pipe placement, pulling cables, setting vaults, building FDH cabinets, as well as other related network requirements.

Has general knowledge of telephony, CATV and fiber optic OSP networks as related to network components, functionality and operation.
Job Description
Has extensive knowledge in understanding engineering and design prints. Can pull construction requirements necessary to build network from design prints.
Understands OSP construction work functions and can apply them to the work requirements in order to create a budget in terms of building the network.
Ability to QC work in the field in terms of assessing completed aerial and underground construction. Can create gig list of infractions and repair items that need attention prior to turning network over to the customer.
Must be computer literate in MS office products.
Ability to professionally interface with customer, understand requirements, ask questions to seek clarity and meet deadlines.
This is a full time position that will require weekend work. Will also require out of town travel and overnight stays on various jobsites.
Company truck is provided and perdiem is paid for travel.
