Rates are 1.75 a foot for direct bury 12 inch and 2.00 a ft at 6 inch in conduit . 5 a foot driveway bores if needed . Pay is bi weekly. Hotel is paid for 1st month This is long term with 1000s to do
Qualifications
Need drop bury crews that are experienced in rural builds and conditions . Realistic expectation is 400 to 600 ft per day. Plenty of local labor to hire for manual labor.
Other Requirements
You need your own machines . Maxi or 410 s . Nothing smaller. This a 1 to 2 year project and we have 1000s of drops to do.. 5000 to start . Many drops are aerial to UG and if you can do the aerial portion that would pay extra . Crews that can splice their own drops go to the head of the line . The splicing pays extra as well
Job Description
This is a rural build in Taos and surrounding areas of New Mexico . There are 1000s of drops to do . This is not cookie cutter manicured lawns . There are no sprinkler systems and no grass . There is sage brush and hilly . Drops are very tightly routed as this is a new build . Average drop is around 125 ft . We get paid on full length of the drop including the extra tails they want at the ped . You will need a utility locator .
If you can splice your own drops that pays 45.00 . This is a 1 burn hard splice at tap and a pigtail in nid .
Here are some examples of payouts
150 ft drop ( incl nid and cane at house ) = 262.50
150 ft drop and you do the splice - 307.50
150 ft drop and 25 ft aerial to UG portion = 25 plus 262.50 = 287.50 if you do the splice = 332.50 .
Plenty of work for the right crews . We have 100s of work orders in hand and we can call in locates to have drops ready for you to go on soon as you arrive . We have a gated secure yard and warehouse to park machines in Taos .
