Qualifications
Must be experienced in all phases of aerial fiber/coax construction/maintenance, knowledgeable in make-ready, underground pulls, and coax splicing. Must have a good driving record, pass a background check (no felonies), pass a drug test, and be willing to use a shovel, when necessary. We work hard and will expect the same from our foremen. No whiners need apply.
Other Requirements
We will provide the line truck, linemen, chase truck, trailers, and all equipment besides your personal tools. You will need a reliable personal vehicle and a good attitude. We want a well-rounded, mature individual to handle the aerial side of our business. So, if that's not you, don't waste everyone's time.
Job Description
Full time aerial foreman position working for prime contractor of Charter Communications in the Reno area. Schedules are M-F 7:00am to 3:30pm. Mandatory overtime sometimes required. Must be available for emergency responses. Must be willing to work his/her ass off and be a team player. Specific jobs required: make-ready, strand/downguy placement, lash cable (coax/fiber), build risers, de/relash cables, set poles, overlash cables, pull thru underground, and set up minor traffic control. Routing fiber into small businesses sometimes required.
