Other Requirements
Valid Driver's License required, CDL Preferred. Ability to read and understand work orders, blueprints and operating instructions.
Job Description
Globe Communications, LLC is a leading provider of specialty contracting services to the telecommunications and infrastructure industry. We are currently seeking a Buried Foreman to join our team. Primary responsibilities and requirements will include:
-As crew leader responsible for accurate and timely submission of production reports.
-Oversee crew assignments, ensure all operating and safety procedures are followed.
-Operate various equipment, machinery and tools to install/repair underground cable, fiber and placement of pedestals.
-Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor such as digging holes and trenches, and working in extreme weather conditions.
- Follow all safety procedures: wear hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, approved footwear and seatbelt. Also set up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers, and flagging traffic.
-Previous construction experience required
