Job Description
Job candidate is required to have a background in networking and information technology suitable to replacing switches and routers. The scope of work is specific to equipment located in cabinets that reside on cell tower compounds for the backhaul communication. No work on the cell tower itself is required. Projects will include but are not limited to: replacing switches, routers, edge devices, and peripheral equipment. Additionally, candidate must be capable of using telnet and terminal programs to enter the devices and perform directed parameter changes, including script uploading. All equipment will be brought ‘online’ after installation. Good communication is a must as the technician will be in contact with Network Operations Command at each location. Candidate must be adept at using Windows and utilize organizational skills to document each project. On the job training is provided for the successful candidate
