Qualifications
We are looking for experienced, reliable drill operators and locators who are proficient with using various types of equipment. Other tasks associated with buried utility construction are necessary, including clean-up. Also in need of locators to be a part of a drill crew. Will need to be able to locate cables and dig. Anybody that can plow and run drills is a plus.
Other Requirements
Drug testing and a background check are required! Must be familiar with Ditch Witch. Valid CDL!
Job Description
• Operator must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in the elements.
• Must be able to work independently at times and demonstrate good judgment and logical problem solving skills.
• Operator must be knowledgeable with all typical safety procedures and apply them at all times.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, more assisted.
• Must be familiar with Ditch Witch
• Must be familiar with AT machines
• Rock boring ability is a plus!
• Operator must have a clean record, driving and otherwise.
• Each operator also must have a valid, up-to-date DL and CDL, endorsements are
a plus.
• Be able to run a drill (any size and any brand). Be able to locate both cables and drill heads. Be able to dig. Ability to run a plow is a plus.
