Qualifications
Applicant must have a good work ethic and past field experience with Triple Play Installation, Disconnection, Trouble Shooting and Auditing Services as well as Office/Warehouse knowledge and ability to delegate and communicate professionally. Must be motivated and responsible. Must be able to pass a nationwide background check as well as a drug screen. Must have a clean valid driver's license.
Other Requirements
Tools, Vehicle and Equipment will be supplied by Utili-Comm South.
Job Description
Utili-Comm South, Inc. is looking for an experienced Triple Play Field Supervisor. Applicant must have a good work ethic and past field experience with Triple Play Installation, Disconnection, Trouble Shooting and Auditing Services as well as Office/Warehouse knowledge and ability to delegate and communicate professionally. Must be motivated and responsible. This is NOT an office job. Applicants must be knowledgeable and capable of resolving field issues efficiently.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Insure the safety of all employees.
• Ensuring all crew members and sub-contractors understand job specifications
and expectations.
• Direct and monitor all in- house and sub-contractor labor assigned to them.
• Understands and ensures that all work is done according to customer specs and
industry standards.
• Directs and instructs work crews on proper methods to accomplishing daily
production.
• Maintaining quality control of all projects.
• Communicates and monitors production goals to ensure efficiency.
• Understands all billable work functions and codes.
• Responsible for overseeing fleet maintenance compliance and DOT compliance.
• Reviewing all field logs for accuracy to ensure accurate billing.
• Responsible for the escalation and thorough documentation of all safety
incidents to include utility damages, property damage and work related
injuries.
• Demonstrate company values and leadership characteristics consistently and
hold others accountable to do the same.
• Maintain and evolve the Leadership.
• Maintain accurate records of the work completed in form of personal as-
builds/field notes/documentation with copies filed for records.
• Ability to interface with office and field personnel, customers, general
public, other management, visitors and company personnel.
• Leadership with skills to positively influence others, collaborate with
teammates, communicate on the level of others, listen and understand people
in circumstances common in the work place.
• Embrace corporate values, understand the company mission, and exemplify UCS
leadership behaviors.
Time Requirement:
This is a full-time salary position. You must be able to work beyond normal working hours of Monday through Friday including weekends as necessary. This position does require travel.
