A.The SMA Design Consultant is responsible for residential/commercial design, layout and upselling of Buckeye’s SMA services on customer premise in a face-to-face interaction. Although the focus will be on residential customers, there may be instances of where commercial accounts apply. This position is considered the heartbeat of Buckeye’s success in the residential SMA business and will be accountable for closing all sales relating to the residential security, monitoring and home automation service offerings. This includes but is not limited to cold calling, following up with all sales leads and inquiries, making face-to-face home presentations, design layout, order entry, trade show attendance and participation. This includes new sales to new prospects as well as selling and upgrading additional services to existing customers. The SMA Design Consultant is responsible to meet or exceed sales quota and objectives set forth.
