Qualifications
Must have a valid PA driver’s license, pass all company and DOT drug testing, pass pre-employment testing of a background check, adhere to all safety requirements and training provided by company. Employee needed for Southeastern PA Region. Applicant must be able to work evenings and weekends on a on call rotation.

Job Description
Responsibilities & Duties of Fiber Splicer:
• Must be able to back up a truck with a trailer.
• Must be able to lift 75lbs or more.
• Must be able to work in bucket trucks and manholes.
• Have the ability to read and follow work orders and prints.
• Perform Single and Ribbon Fusion Splicing of SM & MM fiber per industry standards. (Terminations in panels, Ring Cuts, Butt Splices, re-entries, etc)
• Perform Final Testing & Troubleshooting using an OTDR.
• Perform weekly maintenance inspections on assigned equipment and work vehicle.
• Understand, agree to and perform work in a safe manner. Abide by OSHA and industry safety standards when working with vehicle lift, ladders, harnesses, manholes, traffic control and proper safety equipment/apparel.
