Qualifications
Must have extensive knowledge in OSP engineering practices as related to the CATV industry. Knowledge of plant walkouts, forced relocates, plant extensions, cellular backhaul, as-built mapping, pole-line engineering and make-ready. Also general knowledge of OSP construction practices as related to coaxial and fiber optic networks.
Other Requirements
Must be very computer literate in terms of MS office products. Drafting experience in AutoCAD, Microstation or Visio helpful, but not required. Proven ability to hire and manage field engineers. Ability to organize and oversee work in progress. Experience with Time Warner DOCK helpful but not required.
Job Description
Engineering Supervisor is responsible for day to day operations in engineering department. Also direct interface with the customer and meeting customer time-lines and performance expectations.
