Qualifications
Experience Aerial coax and fiber construction, Coax Splicing. Fiber Splicing a plus! Must be able to pass background check and have clean driving record. Must be eligible for employment in the United States. Current Class A license a plus. Applicants with previous supervisory experience could be eligible for crew lead positions.
Other Requirements
Aerial Linemen must be able to safely operate a boom truck, climb poles as needed, and utilize standard tools of the trade. Class A license is desirable but not required. Ability to splice Coax, balance actives, and troubleshoot RF levels using an RF meter is preferred. Please respond with work history and contact info. Job Description
• Splice overhead and underground coaxial cables.
• Climb utility poles and utilize truck-mounted lift buckets.
• Perform operational checks and verify end-of-line readings (EOL).
• Troubleshoot problem areas.
• Complete daily production forms and other company-required forms.
• Perform inventory control on company vehicles.
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
• Power supply installation ability
