Pay
$28- $30 per hour depending on experience. Per diem and mileage. Contract is for three years. Engineers working 50-60 hrs. per week.
Qualifications
Must have OSP design knowledge for copper and fiber networks. Must be able to design, draw, and permit OSP aerial and UG projects. Work will consist of designing subdivisions to Held orders. Must be able to coordinate with DOT, county, state, environmental & other utilities for ROW, clearance, & permitting. Experience with Windstream databases and specs are a plus.
Other Requirements
Must have dependable transportation. Need measuring equipment ( DMI, Wheel, laser, height stick etc). Computer and work space will be provided.
Job Description
Outside Plant engineers with copper and fiber design background. Must be able to design, draw and permit projects consisting of subdivisions, road moves, to held orders. Must be able to coordinate with all local, state, DOT,& environmental agencies for clearance, ROW, environmental permitting to be issued for completion of projects. Must be able to work with drafters to convert field drawings into proper computer aided drawings for issue to construction. Must be able to work with construction department to facilitate any changes necessary to complete work in the field.
