Qualifications

Only local candidates will be considered. Prior experience, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent required and be authorized to work in the U.S. EOE.

Ability and willingness to follow direction from Supervision, Ability to work independently or in a team environment &communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners and customers; Ability to climb utility poles, approx. 20' in height. Ability to lift and/or pull 100 pounds several times each day Ability to endure long periods of standing, sitting, or walking Ability to work in an outdoor environment during all times of the year Willingness to travel and work additional hours as needed.

Telecommunications Company seeks full time Coax Splicers to work in:

New Jersey
-Mt. Laurel
-Edison

Virginia
-Roanoke
-Martinsville
-Winchester

Michigan
-Sterling Heights

Prior experience, a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent required and be authorized to work in the U.S. EOE.

Duties Include

-To perform tasks associated with the electronic upgrade and splicing of coaxial cable for cable television systems.
-Maintain proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignment
-Assemble equipment according to design specifications
-Arrive at location, and install equipment on pole, or in pedestal, using various hand tools
-Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation
-Operate vehicle and bucket lift safely, following all safety and traffic regulations
-Basic daily maintenance of provided vehicle- check fluids, clean and organize vehicle
-Prepare paperwork to track daily production, and accurately record completed work on job site blueprints
-Other responsibilities as directed by Supervision
