Qualifications
•Ability to perform essential functions; to interface with field personnel, outside professional services, management, visitors & company personnel & to identify the uniform color code for underground utilities. •Understand & adhere to Federal & State OSHA regulations and Company Safety Standards as written, briefed and posted. •Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check & MVR check. •Able to work outdoors & lift 100 lbs. •Able to stand, sit and walk for long periods.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
•Loading and unloading trucks and moving materials between work sites.
•Sort and stack materials as necessary.
•Put up and take down shoring equipment.
•Cleaning tools and machines.
•Hand dig holes, dig trenches and assist in vehicle operation.
•Pulling of cable, lashing machines and strand by hand using a rope.
•Act as a flag person or safety spotter in diverting traffic from the work site.
•Other duties as directed by Supervisor.
