High school diploma or its equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of industry experience. Prior management experience is also required. Those with dispatch experience or experience managing remote staff would be preferred.

Job Description
JOB TITLE: Operations/Dispatch Manager (Coudersport, PA)
BASIC FUNCTION:
Supervise service and maintenance technicians as well as corporate dispatch to ensure that customer expectations, technical quality standards, and company safety policy requirements are met. Responsible for evaluating the assigned technicians to maximize the customer experience as well as operational productivity. A large portion of the day will consist of working with dispatch analyzing work loads, reallocating jobs across techs, coordinating maintenance work, identifying and tracking outages including low signal levels and providing assistance as needed.
KNOWLEDGE:
High school diploma required, degree preferred. Prior supervisory experience is required and industry experience is preferred.
HUMAN RELATIONS SKILLS:
Basic courtesy, diplomatic abilities and a pleasant demeanor are required for this position. The Technical Operations Supervisor must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with outside vendors and contractors. Maintain confidentiality in regards to company, employee and customer situations.
PROBLEM SOLVING:
Work under minimal supervision, within guidelines of procedures and goals. Apply expertise to a variety of situations, evaluate problems, and implement the best solutions
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Supervise daily activity of Service/Maintenance Technicians and dispatch.
2. Work with regional engineers to develop preventative maintenance plans & schedules for maintenance technicians
3. Ensure responsiveness and first time resolution to installation and trouble call work orders
4. Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards
5. Perform practical evaluations to verify technical competencies
6. Ensure staff has and maintains necessary, company-issued tools and equipment
7. Coordinate preventative maintenance work as required or assigned.
8. Where necessary, ensure the completion of all regulatory requirements
9. Responsible for the overall performance of cable plant and equipment.
10. Where necessary, manage inventory and submit requisitions to ensure adequate supply of materials.
11. Ensure dispatch coverage through hours of operation
12. Identify and track outages and performance issues through the day
13. Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
14. Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as become evident.
