Job Description
This is a new position in the company. The below description is an over view of the position. There will be additional responsibilities.
This position is for a full time Production Manager of our Fiber Splicing Division.
Starting Salary $52,000.
After 90 day introductory period the company offers Medical, Dental & Vision insurance. One week paid vacation after one year.
Main responsibilities:
• Meet with customers to do new & current project updates.
• Work with the engineer on status & scheduling of jobs.
• Dispatching & Facilitation of field techs in the morning to get them out & then answering calls & questions throughout the day. Tracking of start & stop times of each tech.
• Tracking of jobs, job status percentage, materials, inventory, tech schedules.
• Site walks, customer meetings, field checks, material pickup.
• Admin processing of production sheet approval, picture QC, Test results QC, & test package creation.
• Work in conjunction with Accounting on vehicle & equipment maintenance & repairs, as well as field supply & material needs.
• Work with HR on tech corrections, outpoints, disciplinary steps, as well as the employee recognition program.
• Data Entry of Fiber Cut Sheets & Asbuilding per client requirements.
• Weekly/Monthly reporting to Owners.
Must be willing to travel as far as Central CA on an as needed basis.
Would prefer a manager who has experience in the field of fiber optic splicing.
Must have excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Fluent with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Earth, Visio, Acrobat.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Clear Driving Record required for insurance purposes.
