Pay

Qualifications

Required Skills: • 5 to 15 years of experience in an organization of similar or greater complexities to Company. • 2 to 3 years of experience in the utility construction field. • Prior supervisory experience managing multiple projects, multiple customers and crews. • Prior experience in P&L, forecasting and understanding financials. • Strong understanding of project contracts and specifications. • Proficient with MS Office to include: Word, Excel, Access & Outlook.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Demonstrate Safety Leadership by working closely with Safety Manager, Superintendents and Supervisors to train, promote and ensure worksite and fleet safety.
• Establish and/or maintain guidelines that promote and ensure quality of product meets or exceeds customer expectations and specifications, and maintain quality control on all projects within assigned region.
• Establish guidelines on production goals and review weekly with Field Superintendents to ensure crews are working efficiently, on schedule and any opportunities to lower cost, when applicable, are done.
• Mentor, train and motivate direct reports regarding job responsibilities, and business process and operations.
• Establish and review monthly forecasts with costs of current jobs held within assigned region and collaborate with Superintendents and Project Managers on ways to drive operational improvements.
• Work closely with OD to find and hire necessary in-house staffing.
• Responsible for accurate and timely field reporting, invoicing and collections.
• Secure and maintain subcontract labor needed per project.
• Work with internal administrative staff to make sure all jobs are coded correctly, subcontractors’ prices are established within your assigned region, all addendums are received and proper insurance is in place.
• Assist Project Superintendents in Daily Operations, if needed.
• Demonstrate Company values and leadership characteristics consistently and hold others accountable to do the same.

Time Requirement:
This is a full-time, salary position. You must be able to work beyond normal working hours of Monday through Friday including weekends as necessary. Extensive travel will be required, including driving and flying.
