The Director of Construction plays a vital role in ensuring quality and timely deliveries of our fiber services along with additional services to customers. Assist in developing strategies and implementation plans to improve and standardize all aspects of operations. Ensure that operational processes meet the agreed upon budgets and time lines. Implement, manage and evaluate operation processes and procedures, in accordance with the standards and procedures set out by the organization.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:
? Directly manage teams of project managers, construction managers/leads and fiber splicers
? Approve all project invoicing, employee time sheets and expenses
? Review and approve all construction quotes
? Prepare and manage capital construction budget
? Insure organizational effectiveness through proper staffing, treatment, training, and management of employees. Track and forecast operations performance indicators of deliverables and supporting workflows in order to measure operational performance, as well as, identify and assess areas of opportunity for improved process efficiencies.
? Collaboratively work with other members of the Operations, Engineering and Sales teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of our services
? Create and maintain process documents
? Monitor and analyze quality metrics across people, network deployments, process and technology as well as participate in recommending and implementing changes based upon results
? Manage regional data for centralized functions such as fleet and warehouse inventory
? Work flexible hours, after hours work which would include nights and weekends
? Maintain quality service by understanding and enforcing organization standards along with conforming to quality control guidelines (includes compliance with requirements outlined in applicable regulations such as: OSHA, FCC, NESC and NEC, etc ; as well as following procedures as outlined in the Installation, Technical, Operations, and Safety Manuals, and Employee Handbook)
? Create reports and presentations and other activities as dictated by the business
