•Prior experience a must! •Ability to climb telephone poles daily, approximately 20’ in height •Ability to lift and/or pull 100 lbs. several times each day •Ability to endure long periods of standing, sitting or walking •Bending, twisting, squatting, reaching above the head several times per day •Ability to work full-time and in an outdoor environment •Ability and willingness to follow direction from supervisor •Willingness to work both individually and as a team

• Travel is a requirement • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check and MVR check. * CDL

Install and repair cable lines and related equipment according to diagrams; unreel and string lines from pole to pole, install hardware; install strand, coaxial, fiber optics cables; must be capable of making field decisions when necessary and be capable of working with limited supervision; linemen perform other related duties as directed by their supervisor.
• Climb utility poles, with approved OSHA belt, hooks, and other safety devices, and PPE.
• Setting of pole screw anchors using power driven anchor-setting machines.
• Tightening down guys, pole hardware, and strand using chain hoists and wrenches.
• Pulling of cable, lashing machines, and strand by hand using a rope.
• Climbing trees to do trimming of limbswith handsaws.
• Drilling of poles with manual or gas operated drills.
• Installs, removes, and maintains cable systems.
