Qualifications
Requirements:
-Must have a minimum of 5yrs experience in Utility Construction field and 3 years experience in a supervisory position.
-Must possess a minimum education of high school graduate ( diploma )
Other Requirements
Requirements:
Must have previous experience in all underground construction: Including but not limited to;
- Knowledge and experience in the operating of Rock Saw equipment
- Knowledge and experience in Boring
- Knowledge and experience in Conduit Cable Placement
- Knowledge and experience in completing Locates
Certifications (Requested but not required)
- OSHA-30
- Confined Spaces Training
- CPR
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Plan daily work activities for construction.
- Accountable for the accuracy and timeliness of field information provided including: dailies, time sheets, fleet reports, inventory reports, field logs, etc.
- Timely documentation and communication of safety incidents, utility or property damages and other issues requiring company support.
- Accountable for project completion.
- Communicate with supervisors, workers, and general public.
- Familiar with local DOT requirements for working in roadways.
- Ensure all permits, locates and other compliance requirements are met.
- Must be able to make field decisions when necessary and be capable of working with limited supervision.
- Possess a knowledge of all safety laws and regulations required on job sites.
- Must be computer proficient, having demonstrated intermediate knowledge and ability to work with MS Word, Excel and Adobe.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Bilingual is a plus-English/Spanish
- Posses an overall ability to safely and confidently perform multiple tasks at any given time.
