Commercial Field Technician –Cable Installation Technician – Field Technician
Utili-Comm South has an immediate need for Commercial Field Technicians in Louisville, KY. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to provide quality service, installations, and customer care!
This opportunity provides Commercial video, High Speed Internet and Phone installations, trouble calls, Security and disconnections at customers' business establishments.
Responsibilities:
• Technician is responsible for installing, relocating, disconnecting, troubleshooting and auditing cable service and ancillary equipment in the field.
• Must follow departmental installation policies in compliance with OSHA and NEC standards.
• Must respond to customer requests and answer customer questions in a professional, courteous, and effective manner
• Must properly operate, maintain, and safeguard all tools and equipment in technician’s care.
• Must maintain an up-to-date knowledge of customer premise equipment and program services / listings in order to provide information to customers and market company products.
• Must accurately complete required paperwork including installation checklists, time sheets, service orders, vehicle inspection reports, various logs and other reports in a timely manner and in accordance with company and departmental policies.

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather.
• Must be able to lift, handle, and carry 80-pound ladder.

• Must be able to drive for extended periods of time.
• Must have a clean valid driver’s license and meet Utili-Comm South driving guidelines at all times.

• Must wear appropriate uniform at all times during work time. This includes:
o Company or customer shirt with logo (provided)
o Clean and neat black or tan full-length work pants
o Shoes with a defined heel and a steel shank.
o Technicians may wear hats, but hat must have company or customer logo on it.
