Qualifications
Min. 2 yrs. experience as Fiber Optics Splicer a MUST with basic construction skills to take down & strap up fiber splice cases. Must be able to install term shelf's inside and install fiber pigtails in new nodes including splice cases. Must also be able to trouble shoot any fiber problem from the MTC to the End user. OTDR Testing experienced.
Other Requirements
Need to be able to perform basic construction, pole transfers, help with span replacements or new build. Must possess strong decision making, analytical skills and organizational skills. Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written procedures. Must be able to work from an aerial lift or ladder. Able to read and understand splice matrix and work any hours as well as be on emergency call out as needed. National background check and drug screening required.
Job Description
We have immediate openings for experienced Fiber Splicing Technicians that can work independently with our customers. Work hours are 40 hours a week plus OT as needed. Must be able to do all aspects of Fiber Splicing and Testing.
