Qualifications
Must have working knowledge of staking practices, permitting, building entrances, working with transportation depts and local and state utilities. Must be able to take excellent field notes and have working knowledge of MS EXcel,Word,etc. Auto cad and other mapping software knowledge a plus. Must have dependable transportation.Knowledge of RUS specs. and Windstream practices a plus.
Other Requirements
Must have measuring wheel, DMI, range finder or other electronics for gathering GPS settings. Must pass drug test and have clean driving record.
Job Description
Candidate will stake running lines for fiber optic cable placement, record GPS data, take field notes for permits, transmit drawing via email and be responsible for red lines in field. Work with permitting agencies, transportation depts., state and local entities, UG and Aerial utilities for clearance, ROW issues, and customers.
