Qualifications

• Three-five years’ experience in CATV/Telephone construction project management. • Thorough understanding of Telecommunications construction and supervising construction projects. • Above average communication skills both verbal and written. • Ability to interface with office and field personnel, customers, general public, other management, visitors and company personnel. • Working knowledge MS Word, Excel & Outlook • MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL

Job Description

• Coordinate, manage and complete to customer satisfaction and specifications all project installations.
• Implement procedures of all work reporting, asbuilts, inventory, quality control and vehicle maintenance.
• Provide adequate supervision and delegation of responsibilities to effectively manage personnel.
• Understanding and control all costs associated with the project to include: personnel, trucks, equipment, materials, schedule, run rates and subcontractors.
• Monitor and supervise subcontractors for quality, compliance and reporting.
• Meet with customers and their representatives as required.
• Ensure all construction activities are safety compliant to federal, state, local and CCI company policies.
• Ensure that all in-house labor is properly equipped to maintain production expectations.
• Provide new and existing employees with guidance and coaching to ensure that the mission statement of the Company is carried out.
• Verify accuracy of daily reports by correct forms, nodes, maps, spans covered on maps, footages claimed, and billing (footage, hours and adjustments).
• Inventory control and material reconciliation by using established procedures for receiving, issuing, and tracking materials.
• Verify that all daily material usage sheets are accurate.
• Upon completion of project or node, fill out or verify material usage sheets for project or node (including directional bores) for all aerial cable and strand, underground (cable, conduit, and pedestals), splicing material, risers, etc., then copy in node file and copy to customer.
• Verify accuracy of asbuilts by aerial coax footage, strand footages, aerial splice footages (including trunk spans), risers, underground coax footages, underground splicing footages, conduit and lateral footages, coax footages out of node, QC changes made on asbuilts, all design changes made on asbuilts and all ECO changes made on asbuilts.
• Perform inspection of QC work: inspect QC records (gig sheets) and insure QC is being performed accurately.
• Perform manual labor as needed to assist crews, warehouse, and technicians with construction tasks.
• Maintain vehicle inspections and records by insuring vehicle inspections are being performed on a daily basis, insuring all vehicle maintenance, DOT inspections and licensing are kept current.
• Ensure safety meetings are held and documented.
• Perform other related duties as requested from superiors.
