Must have at lease 5 years of experience building outside aerial coax and fiber plant. Must have managed aerial crews.
Job Description
Install strand and fiber optic and coax cables according to provided design.
• Climb utility poles, with approved OSHA belt, hooks, and other safety devices.
• Setting of pole screw anchors using power driven anchor-setting machines.
• Tightening down guys, pole hardware, and strand using chain hoists and wrenches.
• Pulling of cable, lashing machines, and strand by hand using a rope.
• Climbing trees to do trimming of limbs with handsaws or chainsaws.
• Drilling of poles with manual or gas operated drills.
