Job Description
Telecommunications Company seeks a full time CATV Coax Splicer to work in the Virginia area. We offer competitive pay (unit pay) and great benefits, paid time off, health benefits, and retirement plan. We don’t offer per diem, only local candidates will be considered. Prior experience, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent required and be authorized to work in the U.S. EOE.
Duties Include
To perform tasks associated with the electronic upgrade and splicing of coaxial cable for cable television systems.
Maintain proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignment
Assemble equipment according to design specifications
Arrive at location, and install equipment on pole, or in pedestal, using various hand tools
Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation
Operate vehicle and bucket lift safely, following all safety and traffic regulations
Basic daily maintenance of provided vehicle- check fluids, clean and organize vehicle
Prepare paperwork to track daily production, and accurately record completed work on job site blueprints
Other responsibilities as directed by Supervision
