Job Description
Description:
The Project Manager for HBS properties will be responsible for successfully project managing the full life cycle of any commercial building that is adding HBS products for their telecommunications solution or any existing Hotwired building/property/community that is improving their telecommunications infrastructure from sales support through agreement to operational handoff.
Responsibilities:
• Understand contract and verbal agreements made by Sales or Executives identified insure deliverables are being met as outlined & committed too.
• Review and approve SOW from Engineering, Construction and Launch groups. Ensure all schedules are being met. Ensure construction is completed and tested prior to installation date.
• Review budget with Director or EVP to ensure that job does not exceed the budgeted amount. Identify areas of cost savings & efficiency’s for the projects.
• Create project plan including timelines for implementation to include engineering, construction, purchasing, marketing, customer impact and launch scheduling.
• Coordinate and execute project kick off to announce new project and ongoing project planning and update meetings for all stake holders & directors
• Communicate effectively with property managers and owners to execute Right of Entry agreements.
• Clear understanding of telecommunications transport systems, delivery options, problem solving.
• Ability to think outside the box to overcome obstacles.
• Obtain executive approval of final project plan including timelines & agreements.
• Hold each intercompany department responsible for individual deliverables including
o Engineering , Construction, Marketing, launch team & operations
o Ensure BOM & purchases orders are issued in timely manner
o Monitor customer installation progress and provide advanced warning of any potential scheduling concerns or conflicts
o Periodic inspection of professional and quality representation on site
• Create and Lead Weekly Status Reports/Meetings to include sales penetration, construction timelines, launch status & customer feedback.
• Responsible for delivering on time and within budget dictated by contracts and executive parameters
• Close project and ensure quality controls prior to final handoff to operations
• Hold post project meeting review
