Qualifications
• Must have two years’ cable experience.
• Must have two years’ experience as a foreman.
• Must comply with Company’s Code of Conduct.
• Must maintain proper decorum in the field.
• Must understand and adhere to Federal and State OSHA regulations as well as Company Safety Standards as written, briefed, and posted.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend and kneel.
• Must be able to work outdoors and in elevated places.
• Class A CDL license preferred

Job Description
Lineman:
Install and repair cable lines and related equipment according to diagrams; unreel and string lines from pole to pole, install hardware; install strand, coaxial, fiber optics cables; must be capable of making field decisions when necessary and be capable of working with limited supervision; linemen perform other related duties as directed by their supervisor.
• Climb utility poles, with approved OSHA belt, hooks, and other safety devices, and PPE.
• Setting of pole screw anchors using power driven anchor-setting machines.
• Tightening down guys, pole hardware, and strand using chain hoists and wrenches.
• Pulling of cable, lashing machines, and strand by hand using a rope.
• Climbing trees to do trimming of limbs with handsaws.
• Drilling of poles with manual or gas operated drills.
• Installs, removes, and maintains cable systems.
Foreman:
• Communicate with supervisors and employees.
• Develop a system to safely and efficiently run crew.
• Climb poles with approved equipment and safety procedures.
• Plan daily activities.
• Complete required work reporting forms daily.
• Able to familiarize yourself with D.O.T. requirements.
• Able to operate and maintain all power and hand tools required for construction.
• Able to load and unload reel trailers.
• Responsible for clean and regular maintenance of Construction vehicles and equipment.
• Carry listing of emergency numbers.
• Perform other related duties as prescribed by their supervisor.
