Good hourly rates, depending upon experience and skill level. Lots of overtime. Average 60 hour weeks. Time and a half after 8 or 40. Lodging and per diem or meals furnished. Stable company. 28 years in business in Alaska.
Qualifications
Several years verifiable experience in underground telecom construction. Competent productive and safe excavator and backhoe operators wanted. Some trencher work. Use missile occasionally. Class A CDL a plus. Familiarity with 18/22 a plus. Efficiently use a shovel when required. Do preventive maintenance of equipment daily. Safety first mentality required. Know or learn and follow DOT regulations
Other Requirements
Must pass thorough background investigation. Clean criminal history, good driving record, and verifiable good previous employer references required.
Job Description
Build underground fiber and coax plant in open country, oilfields, and city neighborhoods. Get the job done promptly and without errors or mistakes. Have good manners with public. Take good care of equipment and vehicles.
