Qualifications
Possess a good understanding of power loops,loop resistance,amp draw and AC/DC theory.Proficient in troubleshooting forward and return to company specifications. Proficient with test equipment (TDR,VOM,CLI meter, and spectrum analyzer). Must be able to splice hard line cables.Ability to understand and apply the principles of amplitude, frequency and phase modulation. Able to read system prints. Have a good understanding of the transport system for the services. Interact with TOC and others.
Other Requirements
Must be able to use a tablet in daily job functions. Must have complex knowledge of CATV MDU, aerial and underground construction. Demonstrates knowledge of construction specifications and HFC architecture. Possess basic knowledge of digitalization, compression ratios and headend operations. Ability to pass DOT driver, application, and medical examination requirements. Understanding of the National Electric code and National Safety Code.Proficient in System Electronics.
