Qualifications
Perform tasks of high complexity relating to the installation and service/troubleshooting(problem analysis),configuration of various digital and analog head end, hub equipment (cable,digital and telephony),including but not limited to analog and digital modulators, scramblers/ encoders, satellite receivers, host digital terminal,Digital Channel Cherry Pickers,Digital Channel Multiplexers,Cable Modem Termination, Encoders,Decoders, ASI to IP devices, QAM Devices, transmission & status monitoring.
Other Requirements
Must have expert knowledge pertaining to CATV system design and operational parameters,high level knowledge of HSD/VOIP related equipment,including use of all associated test equipment. Must have complete knowledge of ISP test equipment including Analog,QAM,Spectrum analyzers,OTDR,digital, etc. Ability to diagnose data,video and fiber optic related problems. Must be able to work flexible hours. Must be able to use a tablet in daily job Functions.
