Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent experience. Must have prior experience in cable aerial and underground construction and maintenance of both aerial and underground plant. Must be willing to travel to assigned projects and have a valid drivers license with a clean record. No DUI's, Background and drug screen required.
Other Requirements
Must be capable of performing routine construction related activities such as pulling a rope climbing ladders, using common hand tools, digging with a shovel. Must have ability to use all associated equipment including running a bucket truck and cable lasher
Job Description
General Foreman is responsible for coordinating construction plans with Project Supervisor,crews and subcontractors, operates equipment or performs labor duties as needed and assumes Project Supervisors responsibilities in their absence. Accountable for managing the overall field performance including cost, safety, quality, schedule and customer satisfaction. Checks for construction quality and reports to Project Manager as needed. Adhere to safety policy, be able to recruit and train employees.
