Pay
Union Scale based on work experience. Health benefits available through the union. Per diem for out of town workers. All hours worked over (40) will be paid at time and a half rate.
Qualifications
FTTH fiber splicing and testing experience.
Other Requirements
Pre-employment and random drug testing. Mandatory background check. Valid drivers license, CDL preferred. Project consists of working (6) days a week. Operation of small bucket truck.
Job Description
Job consists of splicing fiber optic cable. Includes both loose tube and ribbon fiber. Process will include ribbonizing and de-ribbonizing. Must be qualified to operate OTDR and power meter to produce test results and documentation for submittal to the customer. Must possess knowledge and experience for troubleshooting and repair. Computer skills a must.
