Job Description
Time Warner Cable currently seeks a Construction Coordinator for our Construction Department in our Corpus Christi, TX office. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Works with in-house and contract personnel to ensure that coaxial installations meet current design specifications requiring field walkouts and inspections.
Performs daily quality control inspections of contractor production, quality, and accuracy requiring opening of vaults, pedestals, lockboxes, and other enclosures including detailed physical and visual inspection.
Assists in preparing and recommending/implementing scheduling requiring field walkouts and inspections.
Works with Warehouse personnel to ensure accurate and timely flow of materials for new build installations and replacements of coaxial cable/fiber.
Communicates with various system departments, vendors, project personnel, local government agencies, utility companies, and contractors in regard to various projects.
Assists in preparation of routine system weekly/monthly schedules and reports that can be used in effective decision making by management.
Assists in the possible implementation of new technologies and services.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to analyze and solve problems in a constantly changing work environment.
Strong trouble-shooting and decision-making skills.
Minimum of 2 years CATV experience required
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Will work outdoors under various weather conditions 80 %, office 20%. Lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds, stooping, standing, sitting, kneeling, and using small hand tools will be necessary. Will drive company vehicle on a daily basis.
