Qualifications
Looking for fiber splicers to perform pig tail replacements for node swap project. Must be able to delash / relash aerial enclosures. Ability to coax splice the new node would be a bonus. Would prefer to have tech who can perform both functions. Would consider a qualified coax only splicer to pair with a fiber splicer. Must be able to splice and balance nodes.
Other Requirements
Bucket truck with fiber trailer or bucket van required. Must be able to work clean and quick during the work window of 12am - 5am. Must be able to provide before and after light levels at the node. RF meter to verify levels if also performing coax splicing. A list of required coring tools will be provided.
Job Description
This is a straight forward node replacement project. Approximately 200 total nodes to be replaced between 2-15-2014 and 4-11-2014. Replacing Augat nodes with new C-COR / ARRIS nodes. Expected run-rate per crew is 2 per night if doing both fiber and coax splicing. If only performing fiber splicing 3-4 pig tail replacements should be attainable. If only performing coax splicing 2 locations would be expected and 3 attainable as locations dictate.

Work window is 12 am to 5 am with the ability to pre-con the locations for the next night during the day. The work week is expected to be 4 nights per week, Monday morning through Thursday morning with total production per night at 8 locations among all technicians.
