Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Splice all sizes of trunk and feeder coax cable.
Read and understand design prints.
Splice and activate nodes.
Operate a bucket van while observing all safety regulations
Properly fill out daily paperwork, i.e. daily worksheets and vehicle logs. Be able to splice, activate and troubleshoot coax plant.
Other Requirements
Organized with good communications skills Must be willing to travel when necessary
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen
Must be willing to work nights when required Must be willing to relocate
Job Description
Location: Based regionally with some overnight travel necessary.
Purpose: To splice nodes, activate plant and organize field splicers to have plant turned back on in a timely manner.
Organizational Relationship: Reports directly Project Manager
Qualifications:
• Be able to splice, activate and troubleshoot coax plant
• Knowledge of safe operation of a bucket van
• Organized with good communications skills
• Must be willing to travel when necessary
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen
