Qualifications
Candidates should have at least 5 years experience with Project Estimation and Bid Submittals. A BICSI RCDD Certification is required for this position.
Other Requirements
Candidates shall possess knowledge of OSP Aerial and Underground Telecommunications Construction, Building Entrance and Pathway Construction, and ISP Construction and Structured Cabling Installation.
Job Description
This position shall require the successful candidate to seek out and procure new project and bid opportunities for a major Great Lakes Regional Telecommunications Construction Company. Duties will include, but are not limited to the following- site visits, pre-bid meetings, cost analysis, bid and quote preparation and submittal, vendor contact, post-bid meetings, project management, overall client satisfaction, project tracking, etc. Time management and project prioritization are key elements in this role. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and address multiple projects at once are required for this position. Honesty, integrity, and solid work ethic are required for this position. Occasional after hours, evenings, and weekend work may be required to meet deadlines in this position. Occasional travel in the Great Lakes Region may be required to attend site visits and meetings.
