Job Description
Due to exceptional growth, NX Utilities LLC is seeking a Full Time Underground Utility Construction Laborer in the West Norriton, PA area. The Underground Utility Construction Laborer/Machine Operators will complete all utility tasks necessary to support the drop buried crew.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Underground Utility Construction experience
Assist the operator of the drop plow crew with set up
Knowledge of the operation of the drop plow 410SX
Knowledge and exposure to existing utilities
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment testing (MVR, drug and background)
Highly motivated individuals are desired
Be able to be expose to hot and/or cold weather based on year season.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Hand digging
Landscape handling,
Pluming and Electrical experience
Back-fill and tamp holes
Secure vaults, seed and straw along with any asphalt
Knowledge with concrete restoration that needs to be accomplished.
