Job Description
Cable Splicer
ITC is hiring a Cable Splicer for a 2 year project in San Diego.
•Must be able to splice new cable using 710 modules at a proficient rate.
•Must be able to use test equipment to find cable trouble ie. Dynatel 965, Sidekick
•Must know how to pressure test splice case.
•Know specifications of placing BET’s
•Must have a working knowledge of Aerial, Buried and Underground plant.
•Know and understand how to read prints and Counts of cables
•Must be able to work in MH environment and proficient in Paper, Pulp and PIC cables. Must have a MH package. (Blower, MH Rack, MH Pump, Atmosphere Gas Tester, Hook)
