Job Description
We are looking for large companies with established in-house crews to provide a minimum of 6 aerial crews each. The project has miles to be built, mostly rural open or low density running. The project is roughly 60/40 hook to drive off. Bucket trucks must be insulated, no exceptions. We are running 20" below power 35' high and are authorized to build through any make-ready issues. Terms are 30 days net, invoiced weekly.
Federal prevailing wage job: ~$28.50/hr lineman & ~$14/hr ground hand. We will explore all options, but ideal is for you to work under our license as direct employees with production paid net of wages and insurance. (We sign no-raid/temp-hire agreement with you). Management and back office is in place. Yard provided.
Great running, mostly rural or low density, with about 150-200 miles neighborhood residential.
1/4" strand; average fiber probably 16ct; double-lash only multi-fiber, road crossings, and water crossings--all other is single-lash
Cons: Cold winter; two fiber cables double-lashed together paid as one unit (paid same as single-lash, single cable); no piggy-backing (boom must be lowered each pole); close to power; goofy fiber counts require extra logistics and extra reel trailers helpful; some areas have challenging topo, though only ~80 miles remaining in mix (less than 10%).
The project has great running, great people, solid pricing, and lots of mileage.
