Job Description
Telecommunications Company seeks a full time CATV Underground Supervisors - NH/Northern MA and Southeastern MA
Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking to fill two positions, one working in the NH/Northern MA are and the other working in the Southeastern MA area; responsible for overseeing all day to day activities of field personnel & assisting Regional Operations Manager with duties to which he/she is assigned.
Duties Include
Responsible for workforce compliance with all safety regulations including all OSHA requirements
Assist in the hiring & training of machine operators & laborers
Prepare daily work assignments for all underground crews
Responsible for controlling job costs and overall profitability of work
Interact with contractors and field personnel regarding work completion and resolve conflicts when necessary
Filing complete and accurate accident reports (Workers Compensation, Auto and General Liability), including claim resolution with home owners
Review work and confirm its completion according to customer specifications
Assure accurate as-build information is clearly documented & presented to customer
Responsible for vehicle maintenance and inventory control of all on-site equipment and tools
Review and authorize daily work reports
At times, may be required to perform work along with field personnel
Skills
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of CATV underground construction Certified machine operator, backhoe, bobcat, etc.
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
Strong problem-solving skills
Highly organized
Ability to occasionally lift 100 lbs.
Must have earned high-school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of underground cable construction experience
Occasional overnight travel required
Must have valid driver's license
Must be authorized to work in the US
