Qualifications
Only local candidates will be considered. Prior experience, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent required and be authorized to work in the U.S. EOE. Ability to work independently or in a team environment &communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners and customers; Ability to endure long periods of standing, sitting, or walking Ability to work in an outdoor environment during all times of the year Willingness to travel and work additional hours as needed.

understanding of aerial, underground & easement entry & access processes.
experience in splicing ribbon & loose tube fiber optic cables
read, interpret & understand fiber optic matrix & design as it pertains to FDP terminations, ring cuts, DWDM, CWDM, and other multiplexing applications.
understanding of proper building attachments, inside wiring, BICSI, Telcordia & NEC standards
fluent at using Microsoft office,goggle map

Telecommunications Company seeks a full time Fiber Optic Project Coordinator to work in the Eastern Pa (Philadelphia Region), northern Delaware, and State of NJ. Prior experience, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent required and be authorized to work in the U.S. EOE.
Duties Include
Manage schedule of several fiber splicing crews throughout the region.
Provide daily forecasts of splicing construction delivery.
Provide 24/7 management support of fiber splicing operations and cutovers.
Complete surveys and As-Builds in a timely fashion.
Complete initial construction cost estimates using multiple computer programs
Complete detailed construction field site surveys and generate final cost estimate & statement of work
Assign sold jobs to construction contractor who is best equipped to complete scope of work
Assure all assigned jobs are completed by firm due dates
Respond to all projects inquires via e-mail & cell phone in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain clean and organized vehicle
Other responsibilities as directed by Supervision
Skills
Must be able to navigate in and around the various streets & neighborhoods in the Philadelphia and State of NJ regions.
Must have an understanding of aerial, underground & easement entry and access processes.
Must be have experience in splicing ribbon and loose tube fiber optic cables
Must be able to read, interpret and understand fiber optic matrix & design as it pertains to FDP terminations, ring cuts, DWDM, CWDM, and other multiplexing applications.
Must have an understanding of proper building attachments, inside wiring, BICSI, Telcordia & NEC standards
Must be fluent at using Microsoft office, particularly MS Excel, Google maps & other proprietary software
Must be able to work independently or in a team environment
Must be able to communicate professionally & transparently with co-workers, utility workers & customers
Ability and willingness to follow direction from Supervision
Ability to work in an outdoor environment during all times of the year
Willingness to travel and work additional hours as needed to meet Customer demands.
