Job Description
Experienced Cable Maintenance and I&R/DSL technicians needed for work in Colorado Springs. $500 sign-on bonus available!
Requirements:
Installation & Repair (I&R) techs - MUST be experienced in installation & repair from central office or remote through cross box to the customer's premise. Telephone experience mandatory! Tech must have his/her own truck and tools.
Prefielders will be responsible to condition cable pairs from central office/node to the customer’s NID in order to provide PRISM service.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read and understand cable prints in order to work in F1 and F2 cables
- Proficient in using test equipment (HST 3000) to locate and repair cable trouble, remove bridge tap, and load coils
- Have good customer contact skills
- Own truck/tools, including laptop and cell phone
