Job Description
Telecommunications Company seeks a full time CATV Construction Manager to cover the NH/ME/Northern MA area; responsible for managing all aerial, underground & MDU work from start to finish.
Duties Include
Interact with customers & workforce regarding work pick-up, completion, quality, and billing.
Hiring & management of all construction personnel.
Responsible for job costs & profitability on all projects.
Review work and confirm its completion according to customer specifications.
Review and approve daily work production reports.
Responsible for distribution of tools, equipment & vehicles at job site.
Responsible for workforce compliance with all safety regulations including all OSHA requirements.
Filing complete and accurate accident reports (Workers Compensation, Auto and General Liability), including claim resolution with home owners.
Responsible for vehicle maintenance and inventory control of all on-site equipment and tools.
At times, may be required to perform work along with field personnel.
Skills
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of CATV construction
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
Strong problem-solving skills
Highly organized
Must have earned high-school diploma or equivalent
At least 5 years of cable construction experience
Occasional overnight travel required
Must have valid driver’s license
Must be authorized to work in the U.S
Ability to occasionally lift 100 lbs
