Job Description
ITG is growing rapidly and is seeking a Quality Control Technician!!
The main duty of the Quality Control Technician is to ensure our customers are receiving high quality service by inspecting the work completed by the field technicians
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Inspect the work performed by our field technicians for accuracy and completion
Ensure all installation work is done according to quality standards
Inspect field technician’s vehicles
Grade each job and report all findings to the Project Manager
Be able to provide technicians with recommendations or constructive criticism in order to improve lackluster performance
Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner
Install, upgrade and repair cable products as necessary
Service and trouble-shoot cable products as necessary
Perform Job Site Observations
Handle all customer complaints, questions and develop solutions
Responsible for completing work orders and retrieving proper signatures for accurate billing
Assist with work overflow
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Must have at least a year of experience in Cable industry or related field
Must be skilled in quality processes and techniques
Ability to communicate with the customer in a clear and straight forward manner
Must be highly motivated with a proven record of high productivity
Ability to work to meet both customer and company demands within a short timeframe
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required
Follow all company policies and procedures
Adhere to company safety policy
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing of a background check, motor vehicle record check, and a drug test per company policy
Must currently possess a valid driver's license
Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
