•Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation •Must have clean driving record •Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening •Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions •Valid CDL license •BONUS: has fiber splicing experience •Available for travel

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: •Must be able to hear and have visual acuity including close vision •Ability to lift 70+ lbs •Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, bend crawl, and move through a job site •Must be able to be active for 10+ hours a day •Ability to work on and in a bucket truck, climb poles, and work in confined spaces •Ability to drive for extended periods of time

This person is responsible for running the drill crew and is the sole responsible party for making sure the potholes are installed in the right locations clear of any obstructions and following regulations. This person must be familiar with construction terms and directing crew members. Travel is required. Currently travel is around 10-15% but expected to grow to around 50%. Work is located in Bloomington/Normal and Champaign Illinois and will soon expand to nationwide.

EXPERIENCE:
•Preferred but not a necessity working with Digitrac SE locating system
•Experience drilling, trenching, boring, dot holing and Juli practices
•Knowledge of telecommunication construction and cable installation practices and procedures
•Knowledge of state and federal safety regulations
•Knowledge with underground cable construction
•Skill in operating various vehicles, heavy machinery and heavy construction equipment such as backhoe, sneaker, vibratory plow, etc.
