Job Description

PURPOSE:
Responsible for all administrative, operational and fiscal responsibilities involved in running a successful installation services satellite location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Each of the functions listed below have depth which for purposes of this general description, are not listed. Essential responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

Management
• Analyze operations, identify performance issues and make corrective action while maintaining profitable daily MSO workload within all required time frames and specifications.
• Act as a direct liaison between our customers and Prince Telecom.
• Spearhead the recruitment and selection of all project personnel.
• Pro actively address employee performance issues or concerns through coaching, counseling and evaluations.
• Ensure proper coordination of project personnel schedules and ensure adequate staffing.
• Ensure thorough and proper training of all project personnel.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings to ensure consistent communication and meet safety requirements.
• Perform regular “ride-outs” to ensure quality, safety and customer service requirements are being met.
• Communicate all project related issues and concerns to immediate supervisor in a professional and timely manner and make recommendations for improvement.
• Open and close the office when needed.

Quality Control
• Identify, monitor and address problem areas and work to eliminate customer service/quality control issues and complaints.
• Establish workable quotas.
• Resolve escalated customer issues quickly and in a manner that satisfies the customer; educate employees associated with the issue to resolve such issues without further escalation.

Analysis & Documentation
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all company and customer required paperwork.
• Monitor and track employee overtime and identify and correct any inefficiencies.
• Monitor completion percentage and verify all non-completed jobs
• Ensure technical services operate within approved operating and capital budgets
• Analyze and improve existing procedures and implement changes to better organize the team/department
• Compile daily reports: job schedules and jobs completed for each technician
• Note all reasons for cancellations
• Monitor project results through standardized project and quality control reporting procedures
• Demonstrate standard practices for installation procedures.
• Monitor revenues generated by tech and the profitability of technicians.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of cable installation experience.
• Proficiency using MS Word and Excel
• Management/Supervisory experience in cable television, telecommunications or customer service industry

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Tasks generally do not expose employee to physically unpleasant or hazardous conditions. Employee may need to work outdoors at times in various weather conditions and may need to enter private residences while on duty. A successful candidate for this position is able to work in a fast paced time sensitive environment. They handle multiple tasks and last minute changes per customer or company mandate. They are positive and professional in the light of adversity and change. They are professional while interacting with people of all dispositions.
