Job Description
We are experiencng phenomenal growth in 2013 and are adding to our staff to accommodate this. QualTek USA is adding positions at every level of the organization including this position in the Operations Department. This position is located in our Corporate Headquarters in King of Prussia, PA.
The Director of Quality Control is responsible for managing and directing the company’s quality program in accordance with customers and established requirements. The Director of Quality Control provides compliance monitoring and enforcement of governmental regulations. This position manages global quality issues for the entire organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Establish standard operating procedures with the goal of maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and safety
Enforcement of standard operating procedures with the goal of maintaining quality and safety in accordance with the company’s standards, based on current regulations and customer’s standards and specifications
Develop with IT reporting capabilities to grade, measure and trend our regions, projects, crews and subcontractors
Organize and promote companywide quality improvement efforts
Evaluate and develop techniques for control of quality, reliability and safety
Responsible for hiring, training and supervising Quality Control representatives; will perform activities, such as, audits, program setup, program planning etc.
Provide administrative and technical direction to all quality control personnel - includes personnel administration, resolution of technical problems, development/approval of in-house training
Act as liaison with customer, regulatory agencies, subcontractors and/or internal departments on quality related matters as required
Ensure adequate corrective measures are implemented in cases of noncompliance
Work with customers to develop QC standards, checklists and field procedure documentation
Perform real time inspections evaluating safety, appearance and customer experience
Truck & Technical equipment inspection
Handle all customer Quality complaints, questions and develop solutions
Follow all company policy and procedures
Ad-hoc projects as requested
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

8 – 10 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Quality Management
5 years telecommunications experience involving large civil wireless projects or similar, plus experience with wireless installation procedures
High level of organization and attention to detail
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
MS Office proficiency; including use of graphics, word processing and electronic spreadsheet applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and often ambiguous work environment, and navigate organizational structures with sensitivity and finesse
Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing demands for time and resources to successfully meet project and schedule deadlines
Excellent judgment and discretion required to interpret and apply legal guidelines, company policies and procedures
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Travel
Travel may be up to 100%; may include short notice travel
