• Education/Certificates: High School, Advanced Training or equivalent experience

Job Description
PURPOSE/ FUNCTION
• Regularly visit area locations to ensure proper alignment with all company safety and technical training programs and protocols.
• Develop cutting edge training program goals and objectives which set Broadband Express apart as the Employer of Choice and coordinate training communication platforms designed to increase productivity and profitability.
• Ensure technician training programs and protocols achieve appropriate levels of technical knowledge in both cable and home security, customer service skills, safety, and employee retention
• Develop measures to identify and report trends to ensure requisite focus of effort is achieved as necessary to meet and exceed all training goals and objectives
• Ensure management compliance for the reporting of field meter usage
WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT
• Travel when necessary to ensure maintain high level of visibility in the field, accessibility for field personnel, participate in safety and training meetings, and ensure compliance with established programs.
• An employee in this position works in an environment in which safety concerns may demand constant attention. Strict adherence to Corporate and/or Field policies, rules, and regulations in these areas is required.

• An employee in this position must focus on customer's expectations, prevent problems, and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers and other employees.
SUPERVISORY SITUATION
• Area Trainer report directly to the Vice President – Risk Management and Human Resources while maintaining a dotted line reporting structure to Project Managers. This person will work closely with the Training Manager in Westerville OH, in addition to other company personnel (e.g. Operations, Safety and Finance).
TRAINING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Embody leadership skills necessary to drive success in all facets of technician training.
• Demonstrate proficient understanding of all relevant and current cable products/services with a strong capacity to train the trainer.
• Assess MSO needs and produce and ensure area locations maintain training programs and materials to target these needs.
• Establish regular communications calls between corporate and the area Project Managers.
• Keep senior operators informed of all relevant training information
MISCELLANEOUS FUNCTIONS:
Performs other tasks as assigned by direct report.
